Police are investigating after the body of a man -suspected to be a the local rapper WizDaWizard -- was found in front of a home Friday morning within Hallandale Beach. They arrived at the house that is located close to the intersection Northwest 6th Terrace and 10th Street at around 8 a.m. and found the body on the ground. Multiple posts on social media suggest that the person who died is rapper WizDaWizard. Hallandale Beach Police has not provided the identity of the person killed or the exact cause of death. They have noted that the "unusual circumstances of this incident" require them to keep their distance. Hallandale Beach Police Department Captain Megan Jones stated that the victim is known to South Florida residents, but we're unable to release his name as of now because of the integrity of the investigation and also to properly notify the family. NBC 6 reported that neighbors told them no one had been living in the residence near the site of the death for several months.
