Richard Bruce Cheney is the son of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born January 30, 1941, within Lincoln Nebraska. When Richard Bruce Cheney was 13 years old, he and his family relocated from Lincoln Nebraska to Casper Wyoming in the state where his father headed his position as the head of U.S. Department of Agriculture's regional conservation districts.
